LOCATION: The reunion will be based at the Wintergreen Resort & Conference Center in the beautiful Wisconsin Dells area. The Wintergreen offers the comforts of a county inn and the elegance of a contemporary resort. The facility is conveniently located near major attractions and restaurants. Room rates are $62.50 per night for double occupancy plus tax. Reservations must be made by you, the member, by calling 1-800-648-4765 by September 5. The nearest major airport to Wisconsin Dells is the Dane County Regional Airport located in Madison, Wisconsin which is about a one hour drive from the Dells. O’Hare International Airport in Chicago is about three and a half hours away. Average September temperatures for the area are high 75 and low 48.
DRIVING AND RV-ING TO THE DELLS: The Wintergreen Resort and the Dells area are located on Interstate 90-94 in south central Wisconsin. The resort is located near Exit 92. For those wishing to camp or park their RV at a campground, Sherwood Forest Campground is recommended. There are campgrounds that are closer to the Wintergreen Resort but Sherwood Forest is within easy driving distance and we have secured a 10% discount on the following rates - $25 per night –no hookups: $28 per night with water and electricity: $32 per night with water, electric and sewer. Duck Ride and Paul Bunyan’s Cook Shanty Family-Style Lunch
$30 per person
A WWII amphibious vehicle will pick up guests at the resort at 0930 and shuttle them to the Original Wisconsin Ducks Terminal. There they will be transferred to a touring duck for a one-hour, 8.5-mile tour of the wooded trails and scenic waterways of Wisconsin Dells including two splash downs on the beautiful Wisconsin River and Lake Delton. A shuttle duck will then transfer guests to the famous Paul Bunyan Cook Shanty for an all-you-can-eat family-style lunch. The lumberjack style meal will include camp fried chicken, BBQ ribs, mashed potatoes and gravy, veggies, cole slaw, bread, dessert and drinks. You won’t leave hungry! A shuttle duck will return guests to the resort about 1330. The afternoon is free for shopping at the new Tanger Outlet Mall next to the resort or for a short drive to the Ho-Chunk Casino four miles south.

Broadway Dinner Theatre

The bus departs at 1730 for Wisconsin Dell’s newest attraction, the Broadway Dinner Theatre less than one mile from the resort. This brand new multi-million dollar theatre will bring you a fabulous dinner and top notch entertainment. The American Musical Celebration features song and dance from Tony Award-winning Broadway numbers to classic rock-n-roll favorites from the 50’s and 60’s to country and pop favorites, all culminated with an unforgettable Patriotic Finale.

International Crane Foundation, Farm Kitchen Lunch and Circus World Museum

The bus departs at 0900 for a fascinating day in historic and scenic Sauk County. First stop is the International Crane Foundation just a short drive from the resort. The facility is the only one in the world to house all 15 species of cranes. A pleasant stroll through restored prairie areas leads to rare encounters with these exotic and beautiful birds. A short drive will take guests through historic Baraboo, birthplace of Ringling Brothers Circus, and on to lunch at the Farm Kitchen Restaurant where a smorgasbord and dessert buffet awaits. After lunch a visit to Circus World Museum will provide guests with a look at the original winter quarters of the Ringling Brothers Circus and one of America’s finest circus heritage museums. The museum boasts the largest collection of antique circus wagons in the world.

Enjoy the combination of beautiful scenery, live entertainment and fine food on a two and a half hour cruise. Sit back, relax and enjoy the evening against the stunning backdrop of sandstone cliffs and rock formations along with a shore landing leading to a torch-lit walk through the winding paths of Witches Gulch. Reunion Dinner and Dance
$24 per person
The Reunion Dinner and Dance will be held at the Wintergreen Resort with the Social Hour beginning at 1700. Dinner will start at 1800 with dancing and door prizes after the dinner. Music will be provided by Entertainer Keith Allen and surprise Special Guest. Menu selections are:

Prosciutto Wrapped Chicken – chicken breast stuffed with smoked Gouda cheese and wrapped with prosciutto ham and topped with a smoky bacon cream sauce

The Hospitality Room at the Wintergreen Resort will open on Wednesday, September 20 and be open daily throughout the reunion.
Notes to Remember
We ask that each member and guest attending bring a gift from their specific area ($5-$10) to provide door prizes at the Reunion Dinner. Only those who bring a gift will be eligible for a door prize.
Mail the completed reservation form with a check payable to the “NNWA Treasurer” for the events you have selected, your dues (if any), the $20 registration fee and the dinners you have selected.
Remember the registration form with check must be received prior to August 15, 2006.
